In an exciting final against their teammates from Team Brazil 1, the new titleholders managed to prevail in sets 2:1 after initially trailing in the first set. The South American women thrilled the spectators in Joner Grünfeld with exciting rallies, acrobatic defensive actions, powerful attacks, and brilliant net play, despite difficult weather conditions. The match for third place was a wholly German affair, where Ohligser TV managed to defeat the northern Bundesliga rivals from VfL Kellinghusen. The local TSV Jona secured fifth place ahead of FG Elgg-Ettenhausen 2.
